Rev. Delaney Piper

Rev. Delaney Piper (they/them) is proud to serve a congregation where people are free to be their authentic selves—just as God made them.  Their greatest joy is helping people connect with God, a loving community, and a life of purpose.

Delaney earned their MDiv. from Princeton Theological Seminary, with additional certificates in Theology, Women, and Gender, and  Black Church Studies.

Delaney has previously served congregations in Fort Collins, Colorado; New York City; Moscow, Idaho; and Seattle, Washington. These experiences have shaped a deep love for multicultural ministry, thoughtful Christian formation, digital engagement, and faith-based community organizing.

Delaney is married to Ames Fowler, and they have one dog named Cai (11).

Cai regularly attends worship, where he gets all the belly rubs his heart desires. Delaney has an enthusiasm for art, hiking, and literature. One of their greatest pleasures is sharing the perfect book recommendation with a friend!
